In the search for an avenue for Higher Power, I have been seeking a Goddess of health. I have found no health deities that call to me, save for a Goddess who is better known for the healing of wounds and general wellness.
That may fit perfectly.
She is a divine athenean daughter, sister to Hygeia and Athena and the like. She is Aceso or Akeso.
The ironic thing, her name is pronounces 'ak-cess-o'. Perfect for one who eats in excess, huh?
I cannot find a statue and she's so far down the ladder that she is not popular. My kind of deity.

There are almost no surviving statues of Akeso. Her sisters often have snakes entwining their arms, and rumor has it so did Aceso's, however she was winged. I like the blend of snakes and wings.
