The program seems like intense personalized therapy. It helps. There are multiple layers of support if you want it. Message boards, sponsors, phone meetings, online meetings. And I have 2 books to work with. One of my support groups posts daily entries from 3 different devotional style books.
Our meetings end with this reading called the OA Promise, and it just makes me bawl. I feel welcomed and empowered by it.
